Aims and Scope
The scientific journal “Journal of Fundamental and Applied Research” (ISSN-p 2181-3205, ISSN-e 2181-3329) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic publication dedicated to advancing fundamental and applied physics as well as astronomy through the dissemination of high-quality, rigorously reviewed research. The primary mission of the journal is to provide an international platform for publishing original, scientifically sound studies that address key challenges in modern physical sciences.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
1. Fundamental Physics
Research focused on the theoretical foundations of physics, including classical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, condensed-matter physics, thermodynamics, and statistical physics. The journal welcomes articles that contribute to the development of theoretical models and fundamental physical concepts.
2. Astrophysics and Cosmology
Studies in observational and theoretical astrophysics, including galaxy evolution, stellar systems, exoplanets, dark matter and dark energy, large-scale structure of the Universe, cosmological models, and astrophysical processes.
3. Experimental Physics
Papers presenting advanced experimental methods, laboratory innovations, high-precision measurements, verification of theoretical predictions, and new techniques in materials science, nanotechnology, and applied physics.
4. Computational Physics and Numerical Modeling
Research involving numerical methods, computer simulations of complex physical systems, high-performance computations, and modeling in astrophysics, quantum physics, plasma physics, and related fields. Special attention is given to the development of algorithms, models, and open-access computational tools aligned with FAIR data principles.
5. Applied Physical Technologies
Articles focused on innovative technologies grounded in physical principles, including optoelectronics, photonics, radiophysics, plasma technologies, sensors, energy-efficient systems, quantum devices, and applications of physics in modern engineering and industry.
6. Scientific Ethics, Methodology, and Policy in Physics
Studies addressing ethical, methodological, and socio-scientific aspects of physics: research reproducibility, open science, responsible use of artificial intelligence, scientific policy, and international standards for research quality and integrity.
7. Interdisciplinary Research
Publications at the intersection of physics, chemistry, materials science, computer science, biophysics, engineering, and space sciences. The journal supports interdisciplinary work that contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
International Mission of the Journal
The Journal of Fundamental and Applied Research provides an inclusive, open-access platform for authors worldwide, facilitating unrestricted global access to scientific knowledge aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
By publishing detailed, reproducible, and scientifically meaningful research, the journal strives to:
- strengthen international scientific cooperation,
- enhance global training and research capacity,
